ABOUT

I’m Patruschka, an illustrator and surface-pattern designer with a background in literature and a degree from the fine art academy. My work grows out of a lifelong love for narrative folk art, fairy-tale worlds, and the love of nature. I draw inspiration from long walks and the stories hidden in landscapes. My collections are detailed and designed to feel like little worlds you can step into.

 

Alongside my design practice, I teach Art at an international teacher-training institute, where I help future educators explore creativity, visual storytelling, and playful experimentation. I create collections for licensing across fabric, home décor, stationery, and children’s products, always with a focus on story, emotion, and a touch of magic.
