ABOUT

I’m Patruschka, an illustrator and surface-pattern designer with a background in literature and a degree from the fine art academy. My work grows out of a lifelong love for narrative folk art, fairy-tale worlds, and the symbolism of nature. I draw inspiration from long walks, shifting seasons, and the small stories hidden in landscapes. My collections are detailed and atmospheric—designed to feel like gentle little worlds you can step into.
Alongside my design practice, I teach Art at an international teacher-training institute, where I help future educators explore creativity, visual storytelling, and playful experimentation. I create collections for licensing across fabric, home décor, stationery, and children’s products, always with a focus on story, emotion, and a touch of magic.
